My father had a unique passion about subjects that interest him and if you asked a simple question such as what his opinion was on something you had better get a glass of sweet iced tea because you were in for a long conversation. Even debatable at times due to my fathers passion on some very sensitive subjects. I used to tell my gentleman friends that if you come to dinner at my house please whatever you do not talk about three subjects or else we would be in for a long night! Fury, passion and sometimes distaste reigned in the subjects of religion, politics and the union for my father.

Sure it's fun to visit downtown Charleston and play tourist, visit a few plantations, go to the zoo at the state capital of Columbia or even enjoy Six Flags up in Rock Hill, but instead of the usual why not try the unusual!
